The 8th grade softball team had an amazing comeback to beat Sunnyvale on Tuesday. Down 5-0 until the 4th inning, the Lady Falcons combined for 12 hits to beat the Spartans 8-5. Andrea C, Angel M, Jessica D, and Ilona S all crushed doubles. Both Andrea and Ilona pitched and combined for 7 strikeouts. Danielle Chit a screamer down the third base line to drive in arun. Alyssa Sck went 2-for-2 with her very timely hits, including 2 RBI's. Web gem for the day was the relay from outfielder Ashley Kane to shortstop Julia D to catcher Jessica D, who tagged the runner out in an exciting play at home plate to end the opponent's scoring threat. The Falcons are now 3 and 1! Come see them play at home vs. Cup on Thursday!
All CROSS COUNTRY runners will be racing today at Kennedy. They should meet right outside the locker room after school.

The Cross Country team will have a mandatory practice right after school today as it prepares for the big 1.6 mile race at Kennedy on Wednesday.
Students: There are way too many of you riding or coasting your bikes on campus. Please remember to walk your bike across the bridge and on campus. We will start writing down names of those who don’t follow the rules and there will be consequences!

The 8th grade softball team beat Graham in an exciting game Thursday with a score of 7-5. The Falcons combined for 13 hits, including a triple and double by Ilona and two doubles by Julia D. Tanya S. went 2 for 2 with 2 stolen bases. Ilona pitched a complete game and had 9 strikeouts, with Jessica D. behind the dish. Lady Falcons now have 2 wins and 1 loss.
The 7th grade girls lost a tough game to Graham yesterday. Both girls softball teams have practice on Monday.
Great match by Blach's 8th grade boys volleyball team as they defeated Graham 3 games to 0 yesterday afternoon. Great service runs by Andrew and Will and hits by Yaming, Ryan, Douglas and Sam.
Congratulations to team Liewer for the Volleyball win yesterday. They will move on in the Championship division while Lopez will move to the Runner Up division.

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Amber F. for yesterday"s win over more than 100 girls in the 8th grade girls division at Sunnyvale. It was a hot, tough course and she was spectacular in the win as she out raced her fiercest opponent.

After a hard fought battle, the 7th grade boys volleyball team defeated their opponent Hyde Middle School by winning 3 out of 5 sets. It was an exciting game, ’til the very end.
